Working with porcelain and raku clays, paint and found objects, Aleida’s work encompasses a variety of techniques and forms.
The rhythms of throwing and making simple vessels for everyday use are a large part of her studio practice. Aleida’s work is informed and influenced by her local environment, especially the movement of water between land and sea, and the energies of the land, sea and sky.
